TWO COUNTRIES, ONE VISION
BARCELONA District
A NEW DISTRICT
Barcelona District is an ambitious project encompassed within the New Tashkent state project in Uzbekistan. It aims to respond to the excessive demand for housing in the area as well as the population growth forecasts. The country wants to turn this new city into an example of sustainability and modernity in the region and a first class international hub in Central Asia and the Asian continent in general.
WELCOME TO BARCELONA District UZBEKISTAN
This project will consist of the creation of an urban complex in a 200-hectare territory on the outskirts of the current Tashkent, and will be located 300 m from the center of the future city, for a capacity of 125,000 inhabitants. With a design inspired by Barcelona, we seek to integrate all those concepts that have made it a world reference, but with a modern and renewed aesthetic, a concept of a more sustainable city, with numerous green spaces and the comforts and facilities of a city of the XXI century.
FROM BARCELONA TO TASHKENT
We have probably the greatest reference of the architecture of the city of Barcelona, Mr. Josep A. Acebillo, head of the urban transformation of the city during the 1992 Olympic Games, who leads the design and will provide it with the characteristics of the city of Barcelona. We also have the institutional support of different entities linked to the city that will allow us to transfer the elements that make up the city. We will provide this city with all the necessary services: green spaces, commercial, leisure, gastronomic and sports facilities of the highest level. An airport is being built on the outskirts of this territory and the city’s public transport networks will be extended, allowing Barcelona District to connect with the rest of the territories in a fast and agile way.
In Central Asia and in caucasus
Expansion of the project: the caucasus
In parallel, and in a similar spirit, we are going to take the project to the Caucasus. We believe that this project can help to boost this territory, in one of the oldest and most traditional countries in the world. An urban complex with a total area of 20 hectares has been planned, with the same characteristics as the one in Uzbekistan but on a smaller scale.
PRESENT IN ARMENIA
Armenia is a country that is driving innovation and development, and it fits our futuristic vision of an urban hub. We want these two cities to help build bridges between European and Asian people and traditions, and in an increasingly globalized world but with more segmented policies, to be small oases where people from different backgrounds can coexist and live prosperously.
WE ARE REFERENTS
We are establishing alliances with leading companies and entities in sectors such as hotels, entertainment, sports, education, economics and automobiles, which have shown their interest in being part of the project. However, we still see an infinite number of business, investment and collaboration opportunities for those people or companies that are willing to bet on the future of the region and the success of this project.

New territories, new opportunities
New territories, new opportunities
We are listening
We want to merge the best of European and Asian cultures, seek the optimal combination of both and enhance those synergies that make this city an attractive place for people and investors. We are currently working to get the maximum involvement of governments, companies, entities and investors to be part of this city and this project for the future.
Our contact form is open to all those people and organizations that want to be part of it or want to know more details about what the Barcelona District can bring to them.
